
Developmental Stimulation Groups
Preparing and guiding you through your baby’s development

Overview
Group sessions with maximum 6 members per group. Groups are divided into age bands: 0 – 3 months, 4 – 6 months, 5 – 9 months, 10 – 18 months and 18 – 24 months. For each age group, there will be 5 sessions covering the following topics:
Session Topics
- Session 1: Gross motor developmental milestones for this age, what are the milestones to reach next, activities to stimulate the development of these milestones.
- Session 2: Fine motor developmental milestones for this age, what are the milestones to reach next, activities to stimulate the development of these milestones.
- Session 3: Age-appropriate sensory stimulation activities, exploring calming vs stimulating activities, possible signs of sensory integration difficulties.
- Session 4: Sleep norms for this age, sleep troubleshooting, tips and advice to improve sleep.
- Session 5: Socio-emotional development milestones and activities. Language development* and stimulation. (*content created with input from a speech therapist)
For the working moms, these sessions will be made available as pre-recorded sessions that you can watch in your own time.
The costs include:
- Coffee/Tea and a small snack at each session.
- Printed information sheets from the sessions.
- A goodie bag.
